Since the company was founded in 1983, ANGI has been at the forefront of technological advancements for the compressed natural gas and hydrogen sectors across the globe, while fostering and supporting a strong community in Wisconsin where it calls home.
In 2014, ANGI was acquired by Gilbarco Veeder-Root, joining forces with Gilbarco Veeder-Root’s 150 years of experience in retail and commercial fueling, and continuing to deliver the most comprehensive solutions for gaseous refueling stations, spanning hardware, software, consultancy, as well as installation and maintenance.
Today, under parent company Vontier, it continues to drive innovation and further enable the global energy transition. In 2022, ANGI announced the launch of its expanded alternative fuels offering encompassing systems for hydrogen, compressed natural gas (CNG), renewable natural gas (RNG), as well as commercial fueling management technologies in conjunction with its Gasboy brand.
Over the past four decades, ANGI Energy Systems has continually pushed the boundaries of technology in the compressed gases sector, revolutionising dispensing and compression. Now, with the evolution of energy requirements for modern mobility, its visionary investment and excellence in developing and delivering turnkey solutions for hydrogen technology is transforming mobility in the face of the global energy transition.
To mark ANGI’s 40th anniversary, Mark Morelli, President and CEO of Vontier, and his leadership team visited the dedicated staff at ANGI’s Janesville facility to join them in celebrating the company’s remarkable achievements.
